Don't do shrooms. No matter how colorful and tastey.

A few years ago, Chase had an assignment to make an anti-drug video for his health class and instead of preparing a stirring documentary on the dangers of drugs, he decided to show the affects first hand. He led me to the back yard where some colorful mushrooms had been growing. I found out later that he'd been growing them for some time. He told me never to eat them. However, I was at the age at which my favorite activity is to bother my brother and combined with the sheer curiosity, I disobeyed this order. Here's what happened:

Moral of the story: Don't do drugs.

>: Mine and Ivy Hazlett's new word.

Wanpathder: To double back in a conversation; to return to a topic previously mentioned but forgotten as the conversation progressed.

Example: "So dude, I was watching Star Wars the other day and decided that the A-Wing Rebel Fighters are the coolest"
"I dunno about that man, so did you see Lost last night?"
"Oh yeah, wasn't that crazy when they found out the Island was really a Peninsula? Did NOT see that coming"
"...I hate to wanpathder here bro, but I think the B-Wing fighters are way cooler..."

The birth of this word came from the phrase: "Just in case a bear happens to wanpathder across our." It happened because I must have tapped the mouse pad with my hand whilst typing and placed the cursor in the middle of wander just in time to type path.

Anyway, that's the word. I put it in Urban Dictionary, but just in case they don't accept it...I'm putting it on here as well.

The word wanpathder was created by Daniel Clyde and Ivy Hazlett during a facebook chat on August 5th, 2009.

(Credit for "The Island being a peninsula" goes solely to Oakley Benedict Gordon.)

>: It's been a while.

This Blog stuff is difficult to stay up on. Facebook is so much easier, but I think that the harder it is, the more meaningful so here we go.
This will be a meaningless post, I just found some animal pictures online to make people like me and Matisse laugh. I'll try to post something like our New York trip a few months ago or something like it.

By the way, my missionary papers will be done and being sent in at the beginning of next week (pending a dental appointment on Wednesday and making sure they're all good with the Bishop this Sunday).

Johnny likes to lay by the furnace room door to warm up in the winter.

By the way, for those who aren't following it like you're watching Lost, The new Star Trek movie comes out May 8th. Looks pretty awesome, but in a different class than the old Treks.
Here is a link to the official site if you want to watch all of the trailers and videos they have released. My personal favorite is when Jim Kirk meets Leonard McCoy.
